How much silver is enough? Or at least until you start scaling back?

I've been stacking for about 3 years currently and after a big haul this weekend I've gone past 500 oz of silver. I usually spend about £500 a month on eBay buying silver but wondering if should just switch exclusively to gold now. Majority of my gold was inherited and I usually just buy the odd sovereign here and there so I'd have to probably wait 4 months to get an Oz coin.

I don't think the world is going to end and we'll be trading silver for food as society collapses, so for me it's more about avoiding inflation and not trusting the banks. Gold seems easier to manage as all my silver takes up 2 Peli cases and is very difficult to move whereas my gold could fit in my pocket.
