Did you watch the 31 min mark? Did you miss it? It's literally been mentioned before previously on this thread.

If the MN nodes are doing the tx's then they will be charged with a crime. It will be, if it isnt already, illegal to transfer money between nodes. Like you said, it happens off the chain, it happens off the network. Unless they are collecting KYC/AML (which by definition DEX does not) then it is illegal.

It goes right back to what me and others have been saying, that this whole thing is gonna get screwed over by the government.

Think about it, if it was that easy to fix LN...IF IT WAS THAT EASY, wouldnt Blockstream think of the solution already?

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
