I didn't hijack shit when precious metals as a store of wealth is in competition with cryptocurrencies as a store of wealth. Every /pmg/ thread is about promoting the best asset to store wealth from inflation. The absurd regulations of cryptocurrencies coming down the line confirms what we have all been saying here, that it was only a matter of time before governments move to rob people of their wealth.

Actually they do. It all comes down to how much fiat they have on hand. But lets be real here, people will be swapping their legal tender precious metal coins for goods instead and bypass the fiat/CBDC system.

Seeing as Milei is anti-communist, he's moved Argentina's gold to the Bank of England for two reasons:

1. It gives the western financial institutions more gold to temporarily put on the market to stabilize the fiat price.
2. It's a fuck you to future leftists by putting Argentina's gold in the hands of a western county party institution.

Everyone seems to forget that China is looking to have economic might over all of South America. The United States cannot let that happen, especially to Argentina. The only thing that stops Argentina from being an international powerhouse is its incompetence. China could change that around with its immense funding. Geographically Argentina is OP. Temperate climate, fresh water rivers up and down the entire country, half the country next to the ocean, it fucking amazes me it hasn't happened sooner. If China changed that then Argentina would be indebted to the CCP. It would effectively give China an ally like Australia is to the United States.
