Some kind of ta procedure you can test and prove its average accuracy over time. It doesn't have to be great, over 50% win rate is more than enough. Second, money and risk management. Third, do not trade stuff in long term downtrend (unless you're shorting). Dedicate the majority of your portfolio to swing trades on leveraged indexes. Trading indexes has more margin for error than individual companies, even at 3x leverage. That melt up buoyancy will save you pretty often. Don't mess with options until you're consistent with common share trades.
