It's a scary prospect because banks and governments will be able to shut down your account if you piss them off. The waters are being tested with "fighting online hate" or whatever by shutting down or undermining social accounts of people who have views they don't like, then continued forward with trying to deny them finance by taking ads or stopping patreon payments.

It's the big reason why there is a move to a "cashless society".

Now it seems banks have gotten the shits because anonymous cryptos have headed them off at the pass.

I have to wonder if they'll really gun for internet regulation and try and censor or slow down to the point of uselessness anything that has crypto involved in it.
