Alright guys, here's the REAL DEAL with LINK, some of you don't have a grasp on the project and need to hear this.

First of all, main net isn't going to happen for 6-12 months. They still have A LOT of work to do, including the code and testing for the entire node reputation and consensus system (the hardest part). Then they have to bug test everything. Jonny the linkpool guy agrees on this timeframe by the way.

Let's move onto the good news. Normies won't care to look at LINK until it's already on a run. There are shit load of people who are fully aware of LINK that are waiting until main net to buy in, so that'll be the initial pump that will get people to look at it, and from there main net will allow us to (hopefully) see some big names requesting data which will pump it more. This is also the point at which tokens will be locked into contracts for penalty payments and hoarded by nodes for reputation. So THEORETICALLY what we get is a main net pump, a look at the companies using LINK, and huge influx of new buyers with a HEAVILY restricted supply - aka THE SINGULARITY

But then, theoretically everyone is made of cheese
