there is a lot of error and mistakes and human intervention/manipulation possible (I've been on the receiving end of this as the vendor) I work in consulting engineering so I am simply speaking from experience and my speculation but this is my immediate experience
chainlink and ether blockchain (which it can be running on, with chainlink as the oracle) is mathematically deterministic in its execution and therefore much more difficult to do these kinds of things without it being audible

for example I was officially told and awarded 3 projects (~$30,000), only to have the client tell me later that only 1 would go to our firm and the offer for the other 2 projects was rescinded. I had no recourse or transparent way of seeing why and how this happened and was kept in the dark

If these kinds of contracts are executed on the eth network, it would be a completely different story.

Plus I pay subscription fees and have to deal with the hassle of retarded call centers and inefficient messaging and notifications as well as multiple incoherently and poorly designed UIs

this is already being worked and developed on linkpool and will be a MASSIVE upgrade, I am nicely positioned to benefit from this, hope everyone else is
