i sure would love to grab me one of those watermelons, i had some of a really good and sweet one the other day, better than most you wind up with these days. herbs and spices brings to my mind trading ships going to and fro far away mysterious lands in days when there were still lands and peoples which were mysterious to each other. everyone ate the same locally available staples day after day, and having some way to enhance and varietize flavors was strongly desired and welcomed. i enjoy going to wikipedia and reading about the origins of certain herbs and spices and thinking about how they were very first discovered by their own local peoples, and then shared and spread between peoples from around the world back when sharing and spreading was far more difficult, laborious, expensive, slow, and rare. it's easy to take the ubiquitous availability of such a wide variety of herbs and spices for granted these days when WMT and KR have a whole section top to bottom just filled with MA bottles. that's why i wanted to hold some, so i could think about that.
