>movie theaters have been implementing changes pre-pandemic to adjust to competition via streaming by turning themselves into something akin to fancy restaurants where you "pay for the experience"
>adding those comfy and fancy recliners as well as serving alcohol and higher end concessions
>implementing wait staff to serve you while watching the movie
Theaters are taking risks to adapt that people seemed to take a liking to precovid that make the pricepoint for a ticket seem fair. Would probably be a good idea to keep an eye on AMC long term. Just my 2 cents though.
