I think I figured it out though even though it's shady as fuck, they put a deficit on my account balance for their $5/mo gold subscription, instead of charging my fucking credit card through the google store like any other app on the planet would do. Then they used that deficit as an excuse to sell off a share.

If I had a cent of unspent money I was willing to gamble with left, I would have opened up another brokerage account. As it was, all my fun money was tied up in GME and that was tied up in Robinhood so I didn't want to take the risk.
