I've been here almost 4 years preaching the gospel of cheapies, awesome deals aren't common but I've bought lots of stuff for less than $1/ozt asw. Not the cheapest but one of my favorites was this huge 954g sterling bowl for $4.24 with tax from a Goodwill. Got a 1,160g german .800 platter for $4.24 at the same location a year earlier and consistently get cheap silver and gold jewelry there too. My local Goodwill is way better than most so your best bet is estate sales, monitor www.estatesales.net and start slurping.
