I really do not know what investment products are available in Indonesia but Mutual Funds have high fees compared to ETFs due to management interference. Can you access some sort of Nikkei product, through the SGX maybe?

"Dollar cost averaging" is a great method for most people - especially since you described yourself as a bad trade (which is fine). A lot of people go broke chasing the perfect trades, so DCA is fine for you.
