its kind of funny, whenever i message him on twitter he always answers right away. i've talked to him here and there and asked random questions about bat a few times since i initially asked about the search ads. i guess nobody just ever bothered to try before

so like i said the first 2/3 of the revenue from search ads are going to be split between brave and opted in bat rewards users. the other 1/3, will be given to people that own the rights to certain keywords on the search engine. so for example you will own an NFT that gives you the rights to some of the ad revenue for fast food burger results. you would own the rights to 1/3 of the ad revenue for anything with the words "burgers, cheeseburgers, burger restaurant" etc, and get paid out in bat. it would presumably be an entirely new market for speculators. you would want to BUY the rights to something that you believe is going to become trendy. for example, if you were an early user of chatgpt and knew it was going to trend, you would buy the rights to the AI keyword cluster. and when you think the trend is running out, you sell.

this honestly seems like a really fucking big undertaking for them, to create an entirely new market like this. they will need a user interface for it, a platform to trade the nft clusters on (probably in brave wallet maybe idk) and more. i guess we'll see what happens. but its where an entire 1/3 of the search engines revenue is being paid out, so they are doing it, thats for sure. and its all paid in BAT.
