I don't care about that right now. A large reason for why I bought in is because of the last paragraph on pic related. I need to know is this still the goal or is it just going to be scrapped because of AMMs or whatever? Why'd they make the promise then to begin with?

Vlad wants to create their own L2 long-term which means you'd need a token to help with that. Rubic is that token. Pic related.

Stay retarded anon. Here is someone in the telegram attempting to explain in a basic way the layer two of the short term and long term will work. Most people like you who are retarded dumped on the matic AMA because they couldn't comprehend it as it was a rather technical discussion from rubic/matic team. Even if the whitepaper was written to be more technical, people like you would still never understand it.

Pic related explains L2 and rubics future goal. Also... No other dex has true limit orders which rubic will be rolling out tomorrow it sounds like with rbc/eth pairings first to their live website. If you read the pic related, it talks about limit orders as well towards the end. Also...
>>anonymous dex trades coming
>>Cross-chain swaps with MULTIPLE platforms and more to come (proven by recent partnerships & announcements)
These things alone are incredibly based. The whole goal of rubic is to be able to do EVERYTHING in one spot. Sure you could do SOME of these features on other websites, but you'd need to do a single thing on one... Then move to another and do the next thing on a different one. It would be a hassle...rubic is trying to be the Amazon of crypto basically where it's all easy to do in one spot.

I've had a look at some of the ones the people say already have limit orders: they use their own liquidity pools, not uniswap's. So they're useless in that way. Also they're p2p order books, really. Margin trading? Fine, that's their own niche, they can have it. Cross chain swaps? Rubic already has that. And for L2, Matic has confirmed twice they are in partnership with RBC. That's not just a 'working with' or 'using the matic network'. That's a statement of interest for something more integral. But also, RBC wants to make its own L2 solution eventually (see pic).

Very soon there will be no reason to use Uniswap or 1inch because RBC will give the best price of either, and let you do limits through uniswap liquidity--which is big.
