>The British Empire under Churchill attempted to capture Constantinople from the Turks. Preparations were planned for months and high tech amphibious landing was staged to catch the Turks off guard and then march to Constantinople. The fleet was annihilated by the Turks. Due to poor planning the central landing force became a disparate scattered mess which was immediately countered by the Turks resulting in a 70% causality rate for the invading force. British soldiers after being captured by Turkish soldiers were repeatedly raped. Some were sent on a death march to a concentration camp 100 miles away. Some British soldiers collapsed from exhaustion and were buried alive by the side of the roads. British soldiers were given just enough food to not starve so Turkish soldiers could rape them repeatedly. One particularly unlucky solider due to his youthful appearance was raped 500 times by Turkish soldiers. After he went home he went insane, went on a shooting spree then killed himself.
