Hey Pan Man I've some DD related questions I thought you might know the answers to. What does "first-pass" drilling mean? I assume it means drilling that is used to test the stratigraphy in areas where surface exploration is insufficient for that but I'm not sure because Google doesn't help.

And another question I have is related to soil geochemical sampling. I've noticed that gold projects often have very low grade gold soil anomalies that are measured in parts per billion and whose higher grade areas are often max >50ppb Au. And more rarely I have come across projects that have over >2gpt gold in soil as the higher grade areas. Is higher grade gold in soil usually indicative of greater amounts of gold underneath the surface too, or does that depend on the geological setting, host rock and mineralization type (like epithermal vein deposit or disseminated type like Carlin-type or Cu-Au porphyry)? It would be great if it were as easy as seeing distinctly anomalous high grade gold in soil in an exploration play and just throwing money its way and seeing big gains lol, so I assume gold in soil doesn't tell too much about what's underground

Went through CMC Metals today, though I still have to view their Silver Hart technical report and understand the asset a little better. So far it seems Silver Hart, Blue Heaven and Rancheria South, which are all located very close by to each other as well as close by to the north of Coeur Mining's Silvertip Mine (Rancheria South especially, was about 10km north iirc), are what this company is all about. The company's newly optioned Newfoundland claims did not impress me much considering their early exploration stage. Reading a scientific report on Bridal Veil, it seemed to me like the fine-grained chalcopyrite and galena mineralization which is hosted in quartz veins doesn't extend far down dip, and considering that there is very little previous exploration done on the property and that there is little changes in elevation or surface outcroppings, exploration over at Newfoundland will take a long time before anything of note is found. Also the 100tpd mill facility located in California confuses me a little, I'll have to ask the CEO about his plans regarding that. The company cannot operate the mill yet, that I know for sure.

The Silver Hart and related assets are what we're interested in then since they are the most developed assets the company has. The recent option agreements of adjacent Blue Heaven as well as Rancheria South indicate the company intends to focus on expanding their resource base over there and that they believe they can find more ore. The CEO's monthly blog posts on the company website clearly indicate this too. The NFL assets were acquired because exploration season in the Yukon is smaller. Not too much to complain about the silver assets: high grades, multiple showings, historical bulk samples, all great stuff. Mineral Resource estimate shows a bit over 1.24Moz Ag but it's very high grade, over 555gpt Ag. If they can increase those resources this could be fantastic. But I'll have to read the technical report still.

That's all for now folks

or alternatively you could actually make a pastebin and we could add it to the OP? Would be easy to change as we find new miners to add to the rec list and would be a good way to reduce "wat miners do i buy" posts

>how much of that would you use driving for twenty or thirty minutes?
>That's a bit of a difficult question to answer
Actually no it isn't let's go:

Tesla Model S battery size: 100kWh
Assumed distance per battery charge: 300 miles
Assumed constant fixed speed: 60mph
Amount of time driven in minutes: 30 minutes

60mph / 2 = 30 miles driven in 30 minutes of constant driving in fixed speed
30 miles is a tenth of 300 miles, therefore 30 minutes of driving in 60mph speed will eat about a tenth of the total battery size
100kWh / 10 = 10kWh

Conclusion: 30 minutes of driving in a fixed speed of 60mph would spend 10kWh of power from the EV battery

Yeah but how about that price tag! Unless I misunderstood the average solar panel price somehow

There's some yoga/chakra bs mixed in there but there are players like First Majestic and White Elephant sponsoring the event. David Morgan also has a couple of small presentations and there will be sponsored silver giveaways
