So, is it at all common for people to just hire someone to mine bitcoins for him?

https://www.upwork.com/

I'm thinking about going there ^ and hiring somebody from like India, to mine bitcoin for me.

I wouldn't get 100% of the profits of course, but money is money, plus I get to retain my own life while getting that extra money.

Couldn't I pay somebody on Upwork to mine all my bitcoin for me?

I wouldn't get 100% of the profit of course, but who cares? I'll pay someone in India a little money to wield me a lot of results.

How can an 'Idea Guy' start a company? I have a fucking killer idea for an amazing and innovative product & business:

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bus/6277511835.html

Problem is, I'm just an Idea Man.

So that's where I'm at - I have an idea of what the app can be and how we can get it there, along with deeper fleshed out ideas to help get it going, though I don't have a coder to do it. My only available funds a month are about $300 ($1,300 in disposable income starting December), though the coder would receive co-founder status and would be privileged accordingly in the hierarchy of the company, as would anybody else that contributes in an equal manner.

Convincing a coder - a talented and gifted coder at that - to complete the first phase of getting an app to connect people for basically free in the hopes of a product getting big would probably be an even bigger challenge than securing investors later down the road - after all if the product is good, it wouldn't take much for investors to hop on board, especially as they'd realize the product's potential would grow and grow. Getting a coder to do this basically for free would be far more difficult, but that's where I'm at now.

Have any advice? At the first step, and it'll probably be the hardest challenge in the journey.

Despite Elon Musk being a better person than Steve Jobs....

Elon Musk will never revolutionize society the way Apple did with their trifecta:
Apple II
ipod
iphone

The app would solely begin by allowing like-minded users connecting with each other in real time, based on various categories of interest, by sending invite-notifications to each other. Examples to connect could range from local sports, finding a church buddy, college kids seeking a study buddy, musicians connecting, singles looking to date, to general hangouts. Facebook is brilliant at staying in touch with established contacts, this will be brilliant in ESTABLISHING those contacts.

With the success based off connecting locals together, we'd then branch out to a fully realized community assistant app. Similar to Google starting with Search before they branched out to their more ultimate end goal.

A community assistance tool app that helps you engage and stay connected with local communities, and connects you with the locals in them based off mutual interests, aided by easy accessibility, search tools, and Google Maps, which is a concept that has yet to be explored, & could be wildly successful if designed well and remains innovative with the best features and tools available.

Facebook, and other apps and sites have similar features, though Instagram's success proves if a company focuses and excels at existing ideas in at way that hasn't been tried before, it can produce a success story, and work alongside with Facebook rather than compete.

Bros!!!!

I have a killer idea for an app:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t4m9wlyXlZgeeeIEbZZLZQC2z6MKxtYiMdMeC8IdwoM/edit?usp=drivesdk

I have a bit of people interested and want to be on board, but I'm not sure who to hire.

Should it be:
>Me
>Coder
>Coder
>Business guy
>investor

I'm trying to decide who to hire, who to look for. Don't want to hire the first people interested.

Explain it to me like I'm five bros:

Why is Mark Zuckeberg worth more than Google's fonders, even though Google is larger than Facebook?

I need your input bros. I'm connecting with hungry young app developers as we speak to help co-found this.

A community involvement app that will safely connect like-minded users together, based on mutual interests.

Main Features:

Hangout: Connecting based on categories of interest, such as wanting to play local sports, to finding a church buddy, to college kids needing a study-buddy, to musicians needing to connect, etc. Besides the base mutual interest, there'll be elaborated user profiles to help further identify who you'd connect with.

User-driven economy: Users can make real money by getting creative - from setting up their own business, to renting or selling their personal belongings, to renting out rooms, to posting job requests, etc. All of which will be able to be advertised. Users will also be able to post catch-all urgent help requests here, too.

Groups: Creating groups will allow like minded users to engage in large scale hangouts and discussions. Joining groups can be done openly or invite-only.

Events: Displays all categorized local events for users to connect with. These will be created & broadcasted by groups, local services, and individual users. Adding events to your calendar & sharing events with fellow users will be amongst the main draws of the feature.

Tipping: A real life currency tipping system will be available for users sending money to each other - perhaps for a paid service, to donating to a charity, to tipping artists, people offering help, and anyone in between.

Broadcasting: Users can further stay in touch with their community by viewing posted snippets of video and pictures. Categorizing it all by groups, services/businesses, event hosts, and individuals will help users discover particular content easier and faster.

Updated:

A social network app that helps local people get involved with each other in their community, by effortlessly connecting like-minded users together by using a variety of features. Separate apps based on these ideas exist, but there's yet to be an app that consolidates them, which this will do while promoting community involvement

Facebook is the go-to app to stay in touch with contacts, this will be the app for establishing them.

Hangout: A central feature that'd be used broadly from users wanting to play local sports, to finding a church buddy, to college kids needing a study-buddy, to romantic singles, to people searching for a new friend, to musicians needing to connect, amongst others. This will occur from separate users selecting specific categories that'd connect each other.

Local user-driven economy: Users can make real currency by setting up their own services, to something as simple as sharing something and charging for it - perhaps video games, books & movies, to yard equipment, to temporary rooms, etc. Requesting service for free will be used by anybody wanting specific help in something - from car issues to yard-care, etc.

Groups: Creating groups will allow users to stay connected with like minded people, allowing users to engage in larger scale hangouts, or engaging in discussion through chatting and questions. Joining groups can be done openly or invite-only.

Events: A feature that will display local events for any particular desired category, allowing users to find local activities to connect with. These will be created & broadcasted by groups, local services, and individual users. Adding a bulk of events to your calendar & sharing events with fellow users will be amongst the main draw.

*A real life currency tipping system will be available as well which can be taken advantage of by users sending money for a service from the aforementioned economy feature, to donating to a start up charity, to tipping artists and anyone in between.

Rate my idea that could seriously be the next big thing:

Tentatively titled Ami:

A social network app that helps local people get involved with each other in their community, by effortlessly connecting like-minded users together by using a variety of features:

I want to starthe a business that revolves around an idea for an app, similar to Instagram, Snapchat, etc

How do I get the money to pay for people to build the app, for people to help run the business etc ?

A business loan? Would I just need good credit? Investors want to see a product before they invest, but I need people to make a product first. ..but I have no money

Help!

So, should there be an app/service where everybody local around you can share their items at a charge?

Like I need a lawn mower, but I don't want to spend a lot of money to rent one

I'd rather pay a local guy half that or even a third of that, you know?

A thing where I'd broadcast what I'd need, and people who signed up for notifications on a category of items would be notified for it (somebody willing to rent out his laptop etc)

With an EXTREME terms of service, I bet you it could be done within our lifetime

Have a revolutionary idea:

A device on your house door, where you lay your finger on it and it unlocks the door.

This technology has existed for a long while now, but the only household fingerprint scanners that exist are these expensive guys:

https://www.amazon.com/iTouchless-Bio-Matic-Fingerprint-Right-Silver/dp/B000PELUAU

My idea is this incredibly affordable thing, where the deadbolt will be replaced with a thumb print activated deadbolt. Could be sold for like less than $60.

That way, you'll have your lower physical key activated door knob that you'll (rarely need to use but it'll be there) as well as the upper thumb activated deadbolt that'll be the new normal

So basically finally, deadbolts will have a use and not just used by your paranoid roommate/mom
