I worked there from 2008 - 2012. It's toast. Their CEO is an absolute retard. An untrained chimp would make a more competent CEO.

I walked into my old Sears to buy something about a year or two ago, they had spent all of this money buying iPads for the sales associates, God knows why, to speed up the checkout process I guess. They guy scanned my item and went to the register and the entire process took longer than it would have if he had just rang me up manually, the old fashioned way at the 1980's style register.

Sears is fucking toast and I'm shocked that they have been limping on for this long, their products suck, they are overpriced, and have piss poor leadership. I wouldn't be surprised if the CEO is shorting the entire corporation and he's doing this on purpose.

Pulled out about $2,000 to just buy random shit with.
