I unironically just sold a good chunk of my stocks and put it in BSV. Craig is a fucking fraud, but I'm sure it's still gonna pump over the next week on the hype during coingeek. Then I'll probably sell the top and go back to swinging options and start a real crypto portfolio on kraken. Want to fuck with some leverage trading while keeping the money I need to pay off mistakes in some stable etf.

Hi friend, I think there is a bit of a misunderstanding. I expected a post to go with his quote. As it stands, I can't engage with the argument I think he is making.

I hope this helps!

But don't you have to pay all that margin back? What's the point? Just trade stock options instead if you're craving leverage. Far less risk of fucking your life up imho

I just sold and I basically just increased my total portfolio value by 10 percent.

Thanks /biz/ glad I bought when it was only up 5 percent at the news, I just wish I had more to invest

Can I trade crypto options, or does that not exist yet?

Trading stock options is easier money than margin trading and you can still leverage your money.

Robinhood is ok if you're just starting small. Commission free. Once you start to do some serious trading, it starts to crack as market orders don't always execute at the stated price, and the after hours market is extremely limited. But if you just have say, 1000 bucks, then its great.(shameless plug but share.robinhood.com / caseyc767) If you have more money, etrade is what I use for my big trades that I don't want to accept compromise on, but feels can be high if you aren't making kind of big trades. Check /smg/ for the links in OP, but I wouldn't get too bogged down on trying to learn everything out the gate. Just try and read some intro articles on investopedia, and then just look up terms you aren't familiar with. Biggest lesson I can give is don't chase a train that you weren't on, and don't margin trade. You're going to lose some money at first, but start small and you'll get there.

As far as crypto, im less versed in it. Robinhood let's you buy it, but you can't set order types so that sucks. Kraken is a really good exchange, and isn't as sketch as the next biggest (but still ok) Binance. Basically, buy coins on Coinbase or something, send them to an exchange like kraken, and then you can trade. If you have a lot wrapped up, keep them in a private wallet, as a the only way to keep YOUR money safe. I can't really tell you much beyond that other than don't gamble any in crypto that you don't want to lose. Don't listen to Reddit tards here. They will shill you their shit coins, tell you to buy link, tell you stocks are a waste of time, but the reality is you should keep your portfolio diversified to avoid risk but still get decent gains. Don't become a red wojak poster.

Good luck, fren
