Damn, everyone I know uses Questrade over IBKR too.
I looked at Questrade and partially opened an account, but did some math and realised that 5$ for both buying and selling/10$ overall would cuck me harder than Wealthsimple on my cheapo 50-300$ stock purchases. But IBKR's UI is apparently significantly more difficult to navigate than both Wealthsimple and Questrade.

Yeah, I saw the interview with the IBKR CEO and the guy's genuinely a piece of shit. Not that I'm overly surprised, but nevertheless.
My problem is that I'm a poorfag and that the higher fees at Questrade per trade do concern me, but banks are even more expensive and WS has few stocks and processes fund transfers slowly.
Even if IBKR is a shitter company and I might get cucked on trading restrictions in the future, leafs get cucked on trading overall, so might it be worth switching over anyway?

Thanks for letting me know, anon; wasn't aware since I hadn't looked into IBKR much. Having looked them up just now, they're harsher than Questrade's but not too terrible considering that I'm a relatively young student. I'll be sure to keep them in mind if I make an account though.
