i did Saturday and it was a difficult trip but a valuable one. i realized that some aspects of my personality (specifically how i behave in relation to authority figures) are a result of how i was raised by my parents (they were pretty hard on me and instead of recognizing my achievements, asked why i didn't do better, etc) so moving forward i have to be my own motivator and judge instead of being annoying to other people. those kind of introspective trips are therapeutic but difficult. also made the connection between my being messy and rebelling- i realized that not putting my laundry away/doing the dishes etc was a subconscious way of getting back at my mom, who would always scream and throw things and belittle me. obviously i don't live with my parents anymore, so i'm only hurting myself with these behaviors.

i also re-lived some dangerous/near-death experiences i've been through and was able to detach myself from the trauma responses i usually physically experience while thinking about them, which again wasn't super fun but was valuable.

at one point i was flying through the grand canyon and may have envisioned the event that caused it- some kind of huge electric or plasma bolt from another planet? after that, i looked up aerial photographs of the canyon and it really does look kinda like an electrical discharge. maybe there's something to the electric universe theory after all.

also i realized that gods are archetypes/collective thoughtforms which have been given power by the memetic energy invested in them by millions of people over centuries or millennia and meditation on each godform is a way of aligning our consciousness with the attributes represented by each god, and had a very powerful experience visualizing Avalokitesvara the Buddhist thousand-armed goddess of mercy.

yesterday and today i've felt super upbeat and productive- i think occasional psychedelic experiences are very healthy, like a bath for your mind.
