my girlfriend was in an accident recently and she is due to receive a huge settlement from a certain supermarket, i wont name which one. basically her wheelchair exploded in the revolving doors and she nearly lost another arm. the court is giving the money to this "trustee" which is her social worker because my gf has down syndrome and this social worker is a total bitch to me saying that im not good enough for her to be with even tho we've been together for 8 years now and apparently she is going to hold on to the money for" safekeeping". there's no law board on here and this relates to finance so does anyone know how we can have the money paid directly to my girlfriend as she's turning 18 next week, if i apply to be her legal guardian will that work?

ive heard it all before, we are in a happy relationship and that money could buy us a good future if we put it in crypto now, so save your breath
