I was a Rotary exchange student in Europe. If you host an exchange student, you will end up hating them. I guarantee it.

Probably 1/4 of exchange students are socially inept, and 90% of them are horny as hell and just trying to party and have sex. If you're an American host family, you'll have to deal with your exchange student wanting to drive, having to sneak alcohol, etc. which sounds like a headache. Think about temporarily adopting a teenager and how shitty that sounds.

That being said, being an exchange student was so fucking fun and one of the best years of my life. Also completely changed my mindset and my life (for better and for worse). I loved all my host families but also fought with them sometimes and I wish I kept in better touch with them.

America was so fucking based, it's hilarious how quickly it all went to shit. The best thing is that it's so fucking obvious which policies/ideas undermined the whole experiment and yet you still have disgusting evil creatures promoting those policies to this day

I don't exactly disagree with this, but the US hegemony isn't dying as quickly as europoors and other third worlders hope. The US still spends enough money and has enough of a nuclear arsenal to bomb/nuke any country back to the stone age. Anybody that argues otherwise has no fucking clue what they're talking about.

In fact, the value of the USD as world currency is proof of that. That's literally the ONLY reason the USD is so powerful - because the US spends enough on military to enforce that. Cut US military spending and the whole fucking ponzi falls apart.

hint: that's why trump was so dangerous to the American establishment. He was vehemently anti-war. But even an anti-war President can't stop the fucking US military complex. Nothing can right now, but eventually a Russia/China coalition + continually weakened and compromised US politics probably will.

Americans always think they're so much more important than they actually are. Talk to any American and they will tell you some fucking fairy tale about how important USA is in global politics. Leftists will tell you about how "we" destroyed Venezuela and Iran with sanctions, and how socialism only failed there because of the USA, for some reason. Righties will tell you about how USA is the strongest and most important nation in the World, and how influential we are, etc.

Now, that being said: why the FUCK do Europeans/Britcucks/Mexicans/etc. insist on feeding into this fucking delusion by constantly starting threads about the United States? Every time a foreigner talks about the United States online, you only feed into the average American's fucking delusion about how important they are. FOREIGNERS are the cause of this delusion. Just shut the fuck up about the United States. Literally ignore Americans. Stop talking about them and one day they will realize that United States is just a bigger wealthier Canada with no health care. But seriously foreigners: shut the fuck up.
