700 TPS on live net. And our nodes are only growing stronger with time. You sound like one of those guys who didn't think Bitcoin was a good idea either. The same arguments you use are verbatim what was said about BTC in its early days. The tech works, now we wait for adoption. Simple as that. It doesn't cost much at all to run a node. I was about halfway there just from my own investments, until like a retard I lost half my stack chasing shitcoin pumps. I really hope Nano stays where its at or goes lower for a while longer so I can get back to my 50k+ stack. I will host a node myself, for free. I am independently wealthy and have no problem supporting projects that I think will better the world (as well as fatten my wallet in the process). How is that for incentive?

Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.

V19 is 94% complete, this is one of the largest updates to the protocol as of yet. We will see whether dynamic pow will stand up to the test when it is released.

You are factually incorrect about the bandwidth however. Remember me when we 20x this year.

FTM is not competition for NANO. FTM can offer unique services if it proves to be working outside of testnet (it hasn't yet), but it will not be able to compete with the low amount of energy Nano uses (0.000112 kWh per transaction). As FTM is going to be executing smart contracts, which require much more data, the speed at which it can operate will always be less than what Nano can do. Also, FTM is not free to send, Nano is. I think FTM is more competition to ETH than it is Nano. Entirely different use cases.

I don't know much about it, care to share? What I consider important about Nano is this:

>Ultrafast
>Feeless
>Scalable
>Environmentally Friendly
>Decentralized
>Deflationary

Every other coin I have looked at is missing at least one of these criteria. I do think a trade off with fees being present in exchange for smart contract functionality is a win, and I do want to keep whichever coin can do this in my stack, IOTA for instance, or ETH 2.0 perhaps, but make no doubt that there will be sacrifices to the protocol as NANO is built to be efficient and data friendly.
