Remember: a black swan is an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight.

Many people in crypto are very comfortable right now, especially because of the mega candle not too long ago. However, the fact that it fell back down indicates that we aren't about to enter a bull market, nor are we anywhere close to being in one. This just means one thing: short stops were taken out. What follows after short stops are taken out? A massive dump. Many people are bullish despite there being evidence that the bear market is getting ready for its final, major move before the majority of cryptocurrency traders capitulate and the bottom is finally in.

What will cause this dump? Many people don't have an idea. They think it's CZ and Binance exit scamming or Satoshi coming back and selling all of his coins. What do I think is going to cause the dump? The inevitable implosion of the Tether token (USDT) and the collapse of Bitfinex. Many people think the implosion of Tether is bullish, but in reality, once it and Bitfinex both die out (it only makes sense that the two will go under at the same time since Bitfinex created Tether), Bitcoin will drop by a tremendous amount, possibly thousands of dollars in a few minutes (from ~6,500 to ~4,800). A move even half that big will take many bulls out of their long positions, forcing prices to drop all the way down to the low I mentioned in such a small amount of time.

Bear markets only hurt when there is a tremendous amount of hurt, both institutional and retail. Many retail traders (normies are in a class of their own) are in pain and hoping their bags will pump up to what they were worth at the top of the Tether bubble, but until they're hurt--that is, nearly wiped out--and institutional traders are in pain (hello, Bart/momentum-ignition algorithm users!), the bottom is not in.
