So I been doing a little research into AMPL and I have a little confusion. So I get that it’s suppose to be an algorithmic stable coin that has an elastic supply for rebasing. The thing I am confused about is say for example I buy 1,000 ample for $1,000. Will my wallet’s value always be $1,000 but just the supply of the wallet will change to keep the value stable? Is this what is meant by elastic supply and rebasing? Does this make it a good hedge against inflation?

Yes, I'm aware how much it sucks to hold ample while negative rebases are happening. I also know how the price can explode randomly when positive rebase begins.

Positive rebase happens at 97c. It's currently 96c.

Amplforth is honestly a thrilling coin to hold. The fact that it hasn't imploded on itself yet is evidence enough that there is something to this thing. If you can have the nuts to hold, I think its going to pay off in the long term. Swingies, feel free to keep on swinging, but I really think holding ampl will pay off in the end

in etherscan it shows I have e.g. 100 ampl but in metamask and mycrypto it only shows 50% of it. What contract do I have to add for this to work?
