Thank you very much OP. What do you think of PNK? And what methods do you use to secure your coins? I'm figuring out the best ways to keep things secure.

ooh, a thread I'm finally qualified to answer. Been in dentistry for 12 years now, a lot has changed since over time.

>short answer: yes dentistry is viable

But it is certainly changing. My father is a dentist (many dentists come from families of dentists) and he always jokes about why he we went to dental school... because he wasn't smart enough for med school.

>You're better off just going medical or something different.

Dentistry isn't really in danger of being automated anytime soon, even with advances in robotics. People have a hard enough time going to the dentist and feeling comfortable, they aren't really going to want to have a robot do their dentistry. It's one of those areas where human interaction is valued, like live music or restaurant servers.

That being said, dentistry is going in a bad direction for those that are pursuing it. Insurance companies are raping dentists for the sort of schedules and fees that are in place, and most are finding themselves having to do high volume work to compensate for losses and such.

>Your quality of life will be good in small towns or the midwest, where the competition is lower, but forget it if you live in a major place like Philadelphia, New York, etc. I live in Phoenix and can attest that the high supply of dentists is driving down prices considerably.

Don't do it if you don't like people though. People seem to treat dentists like psychologists and like to unload their stress and problems on us. You'll also likely deal with a manager nowadays, since your average family dentist has gone out the window in favor of more competitive business practices. And you'' garner less respect as a dentist than other doctors in coming years, because newer generations don't perceive dentists like other doctors. We seem to be seen as greedy and trying to rob patients of their cash.

>That being said, it can be a viable profession.

What does /biz/ think of penny stocks? I'm looking to start getting involved with the stock market and figured it would be a good start. II've been doing some homework and have come to these conclusions:

>Penny stocks are not the same as more expensive stocks. They are more volatile and don't entirely follow the same general rules/ tactics involved with trading, say, Tesla.
>Swing trading seems to be a good option, if you have the touch for trading and make a few good trades each month. Also ought to have the income to make this worthwhile.

A few questions:
>What does everyone do to pick the stocks they invest in? What sort of research do you do to determine if a stock is worthwhile?
>How much money should you try to utilize towards stocks to make it worthwhile?

Medfag, so my background lies in a different domain. I find this world of business/finance to be something I am largely ignorant of.

I'm really curious. The mood is shit. I wonder how many people from this board killed themselves. Can it get even worse? I think the panic sell offs happened below 10K and 8K. I think everyone who was about to sell has sold by now.
That's why I think that this cycle will end soon.

Maybe I should by some more...
