Some aristocratic titles can be passed down to sons (Sirs) and daughters (Dames) only if they are conceived after the date of marriage. E.g. some minor European knighthoods (they convey Sir) work this way. Also, the wife will become Lady, she has to renounce her maiden name, her children will have only the surname of the father (no double surnames), and only sons can pass the title to the next generation.

infants are usually born under 100lb here, but when evolution figures out we just do c-sections now eventually they will be toddler sized at birth and we can watch them struggle to walk in their first day like a newborn faun.
