Not everyone will be *poor* in a crashed market, but everyone will try to protect their savings from rampant inflation, at any cost. And so far, those 8B+ humans all are using devaluing clownfiat.
It's not the single mom or local crackhead who will be interested with buying your PMs eventually. It's the well off middle class dude who is pissed at getting taxed 60%+ on everything he does, and is getting even more pissed that what he can finally bring back home turn into dust after few months.
