not a fan, some might like it, i dont. simple candles are working a lot better for me.

plus my charts look clean and shiny.

all depends, if i see a clear breakthrough, i marketbuy

if i see a pattern thats about to break i check for prior price ranges with a lot of history and level my bids .

posted this chart once before, old gobtc trade

so i level my bids inside the green box thinking its a good area to buy, the ones that get filled filled, the ones that dont oh well

my average entry on GO was 647 or someshit and it had a run til 750.

but this is just one example

coinbase is a centralized business trying to make it in a scene where the whole point is decentralization. i hate coinbase.

honestly before i buy a coin i usually have my gameplan set. sometimes I hold it for weeks, sometimes days, sometimes hours, sometimes minutes.

gameplan is the most important thing, what are my targets, where do i plan to take profits, at which price range do i feel like its getting too risky for me and should just cut my losses. depends on whether the coin im buying is a longterm hold or a short term.

lately its been mostly short term, get in, sell in usually under 2 weeks. but that is because the market is bearish right now.

usually my profit targets are MAs or prior highs. I take profits on 200MA weekly, daily or 4h chart. Sometimes 99MA, sometimes 50. The ability to understand the momentum and the strength of the rally (bearish or bullish) is important and comes with just experience. I look at indicators like RSI, macd, stoch rsi, VOLUME (very important).

I usually reevaluate and try to see whats wrong with my TA after a 3% loss, and get out mostly if it gets upto 5%. Not all the time, but mostly.
