i'm doing great anon. the project i'm working on is making progress in some really cool directions (starting to collaborate with other projects, and making some breakthroughs on stuff we've been puzzling out for months) and i had a fun experience last night when a traveling circus came through town and they all ended up staying at my house- musician, puppeteer, and their train of holy fool crust punk bum supporters. we made a bunch of stir fry and talked about temporary autonomous zones and it was beautiful to have my house filled with beautiful people. one of them gifted me some kind of legal mushroom chocolate after i gave his girlfriend a ukelele i wasn't using and so i've spent this afternoon laying out in the sun and going for a walk looking at trees, enjoying catching my breath after a hectic week full of endless zoom meetings and phone calls. in about an hour a bunch more friends will be coming over for a bonfire to celebrate a birthday and i will enjoy seeing some faces i haven't seen in a coon's age.

ps one of the crust punks was a 50 year old pirate looking anarchist guy and he had the shakes super bad this morning but we didn't have any booze in the house so i gave him a bit of kratom. since the alkaloids are atypical partial agonists, they actually work on GABA receptors as well as hitting the opioid ones, so they work (to a limited extent) on booze and benzo WD as well. Mr Pirate dude's shakes quieted down immediately and he felt a-OK until they could make it to the gas station to jug for a steelie or two before the circus headed out of town.
