Its basically an IPO without all the jewry except its also not an ipo because SPACs tend to be raising capital and have a set EVA so youll never really lose your ass if you get in at EVA. SPACs are volatile because there much speculation. Great companies come from SPACs though so its important to be absolutely sure of what youre investing in.

That being said there is no reason CCIV should be $60 before even an announcement that the rumor is true. There will be many a bag holder after merger.
