I'm confused. I'm starting to wonder what's the best way to make it in crypto.

There's 2 options:

1) The buy and hodl strategy: buy an ico/coin and dont sell for a year or two, maybe longer, hoping that you picked right and your coin 100-1000xs.

pros: less stress, dont have to catch waves
cons: takes a long time and if you picked wrong youre fucked

2) Riding the waves (buying, selling when it pumps, rebuy lower or not): Basically taking profits along the way, chasing pumps.

pros: more immediate results, cant move around quickly to another position.
cons: risk of bagholding is high, risk of having less coins if the rocket leaves without you, more stress, more time required, can dilute yourself quickly to nothing if you pick wrong.

I started in june and since then I thought the hodl strategy was better. But after seeing my ICOs pump and then dump horribly (kyber 6x to 3x, stox from 2.5x to .5x ico price), im starting to think it might be time to take profits and buy in lower, and also easier to chase pumps even though its risky af so im confused on how to proceed.

Thoughts?

Let's talk about what we're gonna do once you make it. Your coin of choice shoots up 10000% into the stratosphere and you have a cool five mil. What are you gonna do, how are you gonna live? Lets dream a little /biz

Hey /biz/

I seen a thread a long time ago on here, with an experienced credit card/timeshare salesman who gave advice and stories out for people learning and trying to get into the business of selling. I want to start a similar thread, to help aspiring sales people, and others seeking a career change or new employment opportunity. What I will do is post some general stuff to begin with. And if people want to hear more, or have specific questions. Provide detailed experience and guidance as well as stories.

I've been selling since I was 16. I've sold business services, watches, clothes, cars, insurance and most recently real estate. I'm sure some of my experience and advice will be of help to anyone in sales or even people needing general career guidance.
