To be fair you can't get full time UPS driver jobs right out of High School. That position has a very long wait list and you have to be a package handler or helper peasant for ~3-10 years (also sucking up to managers) before you can ever touch the wheel.

Depends on seller and state.

Many states exempt taxes if you buy more than $1000 at a time.

And some online sellers tax a state while others don't. For example, JM Bullion (my old seller) charged sales tax @ my state but once I found out that SD bullion doesn't charge sales tax to buyers in this state, I just started buying from there.

Every seller has a chart showing where people will get sales taxed.
