I've spoken with several fund managers, they're basically investing in equity deals only, or equity convertible to tokens. This means that VCs will always have a way to dump bags on retail investors, until such time as the structure of the investment deals change. One way this is going to happen is through syndicated VC, but that limits the jurisdictions that can participate. US is fucked in this regard.
