I believe it has no value proposition now and will have as much influence on crypto as myspace had on social media.

1. It's a horrible store of value, you store your wallet on a harddrive. Drives fail and corrupt. You can wipe disk drives with a magnet and flash memory dies if it doesn't receive power to their caps for a long time. In addition keyloggers and other spyware can easily steal your keys and money.

2. It is marketed as decentralized, when in reality chinks own all the mining rigs.

3. Their solution to scaling is using the lightning network, which is a sidechain solution that has multiple vulnerabilities and is completely centralized.

4. No governance system and the 'core' team consists of 4 lazy neckbeard primes.

What btc is trying to do right now is replace gold, which will not happen because:

1. Gold is used in real life for tech, chemistry, and jewelry. Never degrades or tarnishes. Is often used in art which adds to the value.
2. Is universally accepted and seen as valuable, how are you going to buy food with btc in the post apocalypse? People like shiny things.
3. You physically have it, which makes it a better store of value since someone has to physically take it from you instead of running malware on your computer.
