Your average boomer that isn't good with technology and can't tell their left from their right when it comes to the tech scene lost their life savings in this scam. If OP's going to put it in stocks, he should put it in international stocks because the US stock market is currently overvalued.

Also OP, put $1k max into crypto and out of that $1k fiat, you slowly invest in cryptos and get a feel for the market (maybe $100 to start off) and work your way up. Do not put all that into crypto. Never go all in.
