I had an sobering moment over the weekend doing an audit of the performance of my trading strategy. I use a combination of ta indicators to swing and that's it. Very shrimple. Only sometimes I decide I am smarter than the indicators I either opt out of trades or go contrarian. The audit result was quite clear on this matter: had I just followed my ta grabbag and ignored all gut feels, all news, all LOGICAL AND RATIONAL opinion from my idiot brain, I would have soundly outperformed my actual results.
So to hell with it then. I'm not doing any more thinking. If the ta says do something I'm doing it from now on.
