The shit that gets me is we're only in this bullshit now because they closed the motherfucking country down forever over a < 1% fatality rate virus. We could have reopened at basically any time, but the government's just going to keep pushing the fear narrative while printing endless money -- and then they'll wonder why the economy/society as we know it collapsed because they murdered the livelihood of the average person.

Of course, this is all only bad for the non-elites, i.e. (((bankers and politicians))). They'll be just fine, and they're even benefitting from all this and will continue to.

It's lose-lose. The (((people))) running the real estate industry have it locked in down an exact science.
Your choices are:
>pay the insane 20-30% inflated prices now but get like 2.25% rate
OR
>wait for a crash and IF one happens in the next few years, houses at best drop 10% in price AND you have to pay 5-8% rate
>or if no crash happens, have to pay 10% more in the next few years on top of that originally 20-30% inflated price at 4% rate

I'm very bearish on that, personally. I just don't see the xiao bideng administration ever actually letting the foreclosure moratorium expire, cause it'd make them look insanely bad. I also don't see a "re-opening" for another 16 months minimum (or ever, depending how blackpilled I'm feeling). So panic-buying and rich foreigners getting everything will just continue. What I do see if endless money printing, and rising rates to go with hyperinflation.

Unfortunately this market and all its buyers proves to me that the cost just doesn't matter to all these chinks and indians, since they're able to come in with 20K+ earnest offers out of the gate. I just feel like at this time in 2022 or 2023 these same sorts of houses will be $1.3mil instead of 900K or 1mil AND the interest rates will be 4.5%+

It's like this in northern VA too
>house prices increased 20%+ just in the past 4 months
>literally 95%+ of sales (confirmable by looking at county property sales data) are to indians, arabs, and chinks
>most houses solid within 1-3 days of listing
>the chinks/indians who bought them paid $20-50K over-ask without ever physically seeing the house
>every week or two the new construction's prices get raised 4-5K arbitrarily
>80% of houses for sale / being built are unnecessary McMansions
It's pretty fucking bad. My wife's a gubmint worker, we have a VA loan, and a combined salary of $250K and we're still priced out of half the places and/or beat out by magic indians and chinks who are willing to buy every property for 50K more than its listed price within hours of it going on the market.
