It's pretty obvious that the only way space mining will be profitable is if we have a space elevator/skyhook and/or a moon base
If none of those exist then space mining is still very far away, if one of those exist except the space elevator than space mining is still about 20-50 years away
If space elevator exists though you might wanna sell your PMs soon
