IF they wake up. they've had over a decade to wake up and haven't. Hell, in 2013 they had the scare when Microsoft initially announced the Xbox One as DIGITAL ONLY and that they were going to kill used games sales. Even though they walked that back (because they had to, espeically after Snoy had the infamous "how to share games on ps4" meme), they should have started planning ahead. They didn't. They run the same doomed business model today of up-selling warranties, selling used games, a membership that provides 0 benefits, and a crappy magazine (GameInformer at least used to be decent).
Shit even phyisical game rental market got taken over by a nobody (Redbox), something GS might have been able to break into easily and become the old-school netflix of gaming. Gamestop is the most pathetically ran company in existence. I honestly don't get the fascination with it here, I thought it was an ironic /biz/ joke to get retards to pump the worst stock you could possibly buy at first. I don't mind because writing options with these premiums are retarded easy money since GME unlikely to go under in the next year.
