My newest idea is to watch the price of pre-owned laptops as an economic indicator. When it's low, the economy is growing; people and companies are buying new machines and dumping the old ones on the used market. When it's high, people and companies are saving money, buying and extending their use of old machines.

What's great is you currently have an incredible opportunity to buy goods for cheap compared to anybody else, all while having the biggest incomes. God only knows how long this deflationary window last, so use it wisely fren. It could be your ticket to comfytown. My guess is no longer than few months to half a year, seeing the insane pace at which the other currencies are plunging.

Besides programming, what are some of the skills that one can learn by yourself and easily monetize? Right now I'm thinking of video editing, After Effects or even stuff like Cinema4D, Blender etc, but not sure about the learning curve and how easy those skills would be to monetize or if market is already oversaturated by people with those skills. Anyway that would be great for me because I've been writing some low budget scripts that would like to direct so even if I couldn't immediately monetize those skills at least they might still be useful for me in the long run. But if somebody knows other fields like that, please recommend.

I'll dox myself as I've already mentioned his company in the past it's upton microphones. We work with more of the producers and shit but more big people have been buying recently which is pretty cool I'm happy for my dad. Like Rick Rubin and Stevie Wonder bought some shit relatively recently. Audiophiles are kinda stupid though ngl it doesn't sound THAT much better than a cheap one.
