See, I understand that and I agree with your assessment, but I just think that the push by green energy retards is too strong to stop them from forcing that meme down our throats. I live in the north west and even if the infrastructure was in place you'd be a complete retard to buy an electric vehicle for anything but transportation solely within city limits, because they lack the more relatively rugged design and higher torque offered by gasoline vehicles which actually let you get out of a snow ditch. Nobody who lives in adverse climates thinks electric vehicles is a good idea.

But when you have retards like commiefornia talking about trying to phase out gas cars, well, as the saying goes, as California goes, so goes the nation. They are the cancer epicenter, and from them all bad ideas inevitably manage to spread.

I'm just personally banking that they're going to successfully force this meme, exactly by virtue of forcing tax credits and favorable legislation to ensure the proles go along with it, and consequently demand for oil based products will be much lower.
