But the Canadian Truckers should have raised a red flag with you that it could EASILY be coopted to punish dissidents, where free speech cannot. Kind of like how the IRS can be used to go after organizations the current regime does not like (see Taibi, Matt). Yes the government can already do this, but the CBDC makes it easier.
