Any fellow Eurofags here who can tell me if eToro is a good option for buying/holding/selling regular stocks? I don't want CFDs, Options, or any of that. I've been using Flatex so far but I'm tired of paying 10-20$ every time I buy/sell something, with US stocks being especially expensive.
eToro cliams they have no commissions for buying/selling regular stocks and I'm pretty sure that's either a straight up lie or I'm getting fucked bigly in some way I haven't figured out yet (Euros always get fucked) - I read the terms&conditions but haven't found the Jewish tricks yet.
Any advice would be much appreciated, I'm just so sick of commissions.

>I haven't sold a single stock in all of 2020
>I'm up 28% (divvies not included)
When the fuck are you supposed to sell? Clearly, I'm missing out on gainz compared to the people who make 100-200% on their portfolios but they seem to do complicated and time-consuming shit like options etc. (much of which isn't even allowed in my country or taxed up the ass), and I see just as many people lose most of their money.
I literally just come to this general once or twice a month, look up the latest memes on SeekingAlpha, and if the 5-10 year graph doesn't literally look like that of a PnD scam altcoin (many do), I buy a few shares.

Is it literally that easy? Statistically, how fucked will I be in 5 years if I continue not to sell any of my holdings?
