No problem, hopefully you update us if you get anything refined and returned. Wish I was more experienced with different refineries but PG&G is local so I deal in person, saves shipping costs and preserves my peace of mind. What form is that gold on the plate in your pic, turnings and sponge? Not sure what I'm looking at there.

>do you have any experience with eBay auctioning?

Gobs, started in the 90s, and my experience is why I tell everyone to look for Buy-It-Now only listings.

Basically all the bidding happens in the last few minutes or seconds so it won't likely stay that cheap.

One can get good auction deals of course, but most of the time other people are willing to pay more than I am for sterling so the energy/time input versus reward is lower in my experience compared to trawling for fresh cheap BIN deals.

If you want to try bidding, either just bid your max now and forget about it until it ends or use an automated eBay auction sniping service like www.gixen.com to bid for you seconds before the auction ends, but don't sit there physically watching the countdown to manually enter bids because it wastes a whole bunch of time all added up.

I get on eBay, then set up my search for "sterling" just in the "Antiques" category, buy-it-now listings only, sorted most recent first. Then I just periodically refresh when I have money to spend looking for cheapo batches of sterling no one else has clicked on yet and quickly purchase the ones that are both legit and significantly underpriced (most normies still think silver is under 20 and many don't bother checking spot before listing).

I shouldn't tell y'all what to do to stack under-$20 silver bullion all day long but I'm not a Jew, there is plenty of scrap out there for us all and I don't make remotely enough to buy even 10% of what shows up on there every hour of every day.

Picrel is 17.78g sterling and 4.04g 10k gold for 15.60 total that arrived today. I don't actively look for gold but you can make even better margins scrapping Goldberg's jewels than on silver if you prefer the yellow metal. My last several refined 1/10oz rounds cost something like 30 bucks each lol.
