So I earn about $110k and my live in gf earns about $35k. We split the rent + bills, but I take her out for expensive dates get her very expensive gifts almost unilaterally. She also uses my car every day which I pay everything for.

Meanwhile she still complains about our arrangement and is convinced it’s unfair I’m not paying more for rent and bills despite us being just bf and gf. All her friends say I’m wrong but I don’t think I should pay more just cause I earn more and I haven’t backed down.

Am I wrong? How should finances be split between prtners

I stopped dealing with the stocks market because holy fuck it is a blatant scam and options can literally take your portfolio to zero if you fuck up hard enough, but do rich people really take losses of 30% as 'acceptable losses'. I thought you were supposed to consider selling after 3% and get the fuck out of there at 10%. 1/3 would literally be millions, for a wallstreet trader.
