The Fed expects inflation to be in the low 3% range by the end of the year and the low 2% range by the end of 2024, which is new information as far as I know. I expect that they're going to "realize" that they've been overtightening soon, maybe by the next meeting, and do no more than a 25 bps hike. Remember a few months ago when it was going to be 50 or 75 or even 100 bps indefinitely? If the consistent theme is that the Fed is always behind the curve, I think we're right on schedule for a P Word.
