The first post I made was for shit and giggles but if you ask me: there are global marketplaces and infrastructures to trade commodities like energy, food/livestock and metals.
There are no marketplaces to trade computing power or datas as of today despite the demand exploding.

Besides on the contrary to currencies like Bitcoin trying to undercut banks and national currencies, iExec is merely trying to create a hub where all participants can meet and trade processing power and datas, they don't compete with them.
