I recently came into a fair bit of junk silver. My grandfather was silent generation, depression-era background. I think he and my grandma started this as a rainy day fund probably in the ‘60s/‘70s.

>4 Mercury dimes
>74 quarters
>5 half dollars, 4 nickels
>1940s-1964 in time range

All pre 1964. I dunno how many ounces it is all tallied up. And I’ve only gotten a rough guessatimate of $6kish combined. Am I overshooting it though?
